Did you know LCFEG has three plant nurseries where we raise plants for our restoration projects? We grow everything from Western Red Cedar to Pacific Ninebark. This summer, our restoration assistant, Chelsey, worked with an intern from Camas High School, Emma McBride, to test different treatments (compost tea and mycorrhizal fungi) to see if they influenced plant growth. Emma collected and analyzed data and will present her findings in her senior research project!
