The Rue Creek riparian project seeks to restore the riparian habitat along three forks of Rue creek, with a total of 48 acres restored.

Total Project Site:

• 3.98 mi streambanks
• 96.4 site acreage with approximately 50% of acreage planted
• Remaining 50% already contains plants or is not suitable for growth (extreme wetlands).
• Site 1 (Main Fork) metrics: 2.7 mi streambanks, 32.6 acres planted, 9.8 acres invasive plant treatments
• Site 2 (middle & west forks) metrics: 1.28 mi streambanks, 15.6 acres planted, 8.6 acres invasive plant treatments.
